Virtualization of MacBook Pro laptops here already?
According to a Techworld.com report, a Russian company is planning to release software that will allow Linux, Mac OS X and Windows to run on a machine at the same time:
“This is not simply a “dual-boot” but instead gives our users the ability to use Windows or any other operating system at the same time as Mac OS X, enabling users to enjoy the comfort of their Mac OS X desktop while still being able to use critical applications from other OSes.”
Could be interesting, more details later this week.

iPod phone
In the “just won’t die” rumor category there is mounting “evidence” of a coming iPod with phone capabilities.
I’m not sure I buy it. I’d love to believe it’s true, but I wonder which carrier would partner with Apple? Cingular? T-mobile? Verizon? Sprint/Nextel? None of the North American providers seem likely partners. Would Apple have the bankroll to do their own network? It seems something very Apple-like to do, but after the Motorola iTunes phone thud, I’m not sure Apple is ready for the phone market.
